Rod A. Martindale passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 at
Miller's Merry Manor in Culver IN.
He retired from Indiana Bell with over 30 years of service. Rod was
an avid fisherman, enjoyed remodeling old homes, and always
looked forward to buying his next new truck! On October 19, 1979
he married Dollie Keller.
He is survived by his wife Dollie Martindale of Culver, sister Marilyn
(Al) Bayman of South Bend, IN, children Ricky (Diane) Martindale of
Walkerton IN, Robert (Becky) Martindale of South Bend IN, and
Susan (Jim) Lovell of Manhattan, MT, his stepchildren Rae (Jeff)
Bonnell of Monticello, IN, Cindy (Tom) Kasten of Winamac IN, and
Tim (Darcie) Posthuma of Rochester IN, 11 grandchildren and, 5
great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother,
Richard Martindale of South Bend IN.
Cremation has taken place, and his ashes will be buried in Culver
Masonic Cemetery. There will be no visitation, and a private family
service will be held. Rod will be greatly missed by all his family, and
friends.
